Upgrading from CDH 4 to CDH 5

- If you are running Cloudera Manager 4, you must upgrade to Cloudera Manager 5 first, as Cloudera Manager 4 cannot manage CDH 5; see Upgrading Cloudera Manager.
- Follow directions in Upgrading CDH 4 to CDH 5 to upgrade CDH 4 to CDH 5 in a Cloudera Manager deployment.
